The greatest fighter of our generation dominated Margarito for a 154lb title, that's where the problem lies,in his choice of opponent!!Great fighters shouldn't get to break records beating people like Margarito!!Same for his counterpart!!More worthy fighters fight at 154!!

WEIGHT LIMIT MY ASS...that's the recent mainstream excuse for validating the catchweight trend....arguing that he's still "within" welterweight or bantamweight limit is bull****...he simply DID NOT make the recognize limit for that specific weight....unfortunately, this bs argument is being lent some credibility when the likes of sTEWARD or Arum, or any boxing stapleface support bouts with catchweights...i understand the need to make good fights, but don't tarnish the integrity of the sport on that acct.....not everyone would start blurring the lines for their own benefits.

Fuck 8 divisional titles. It's the 4 lineal titles that important. That cannot be beaten.

          but that's the issue...it shouldn't be for the 154...especially, when he weighed in @ 144!!!!!..that's 10 pounds!!...that bradley/alexander/amir chin weight after a meal, man

i have no prob the opponent per say, as long as they make weight...marg is huge in comparison anyway, so that in itself was a feat..props to pac...but within boxing structure...that belt was bull****!

they've been accomodating PAC a little too much...first it's the "DIAMOND" belt, then a 7th divisional belt, then an eighth....i would be surprised if they try to get him an belt for his next fight..just to break records and say he's supernatural..

he's impeccable..we know that...no need to validate with worthless trinkets, or demean his good wins with catchweight clauses...they're not doing pac any favors...in 50 years, they'll mention his accomplishments, but they would also hint @ enabling environment that facilitate his successes

His weight isn't really an issue,IMO!!He can weight whatever he wants for a fight,as long as it's not over the limit!!The Problem is the opponent in that fight didn't belong or deserve to be in the same ring with him!!There are far more deserving fighters than Margarito!!
