How did they draw less with marg?

They only did 41,000 but did 55,000 for clottey?

Those 15,000 extra fans for the clottey fight were prob just football fans going because its was a fight in a there fav teams stadium

idk what do you guys think?

IMO...not everybody has forgiven Margarito. Or like in my case, I couldn't afford to travel to Dallas again after going to Pac-Clottey.

Probably because the majority of the first crowd probably had never seen a boxing match before, and were there because it was in cowboy stadium.

After seeing the garbage undercard and clottey fighting like a *****, they probably didn't want to come back.

I noticed the clottey fight was mostly white, but this fight was mostly filipino and mexican.

Plus half the people that follow boxing probably hate margarito and boycotted the fight. I would have if Pacquiao wasn't our boy.

Everyone knew Pac was going to win, and is a legit welterweight.

Back with Clottey fighting in Texas was a novelty and there were questions whether the Cotto victory was a product of Manny's talent or Cotto's lack of perseverance.

Even the Pochos knew Pac was going to win.

The Pacquiao-Clottey fight actually only drew 41,843. So it's about the same. Top Rank was trying to bullshit the boxing world but they forgot about one thing: boxing regulators.

Skysports1 showed it live and mexicans were still recovering financially from the recent Rafael loss.
