To be honest with you Floyd could've easily made 144 against JMM if he actually has a diet.

Floyd eats a lot of junk food and a lot of fat food. This dude eats out every day and loves to eat at McDonalds. He should have no problem making 147 if he eats right in training camp.

lol, If you haven't learned by now,

Floyd isn't forcing Pac to do anything.

Hes in his 30s. Hes fully grown into his frame. Once you hit 30, it becomes much harder to shrink down like that without compromising yourself in some way.

And he may not be in his prime, but it's still enough to beat or at least be ultra competitive with virtually anyone in the neighborhood of WW.
Ideally, we would love that instead of the part-time BS. But let's face, when you reach that level and have been doing it since you were three years old, you lose motivation.

I don't think he has a hard time making weight just harder than he is used to. I'm guessing he got bigger while he was off and now has to cut more which is something I don't think he has ever been fond of doing.

Oh, I get it! You're trying to bait people into the idea that Floyd takes these layoffs to roid up and put on muscle. They couldn't even test him using OSDT guidelines because "retired" athletes aren't subject to testing. Sounds plausible. His security guys certainly know a thing or two about gear.

What's funny is how he's trying to invent Floyd struggling to make 147.

Floyd took some time off during his first retirement, came back for a catchweight fight with Marquez and came in 3 lbs heavy. A lot of people think it was intentional to have an edge, but Floyd was having some issues with the IRS at that point so giving away almost a million dollars in weight penalty was not a smart business decision. Also, whatever you think about Floyd, when it comes to training and boxing he's a dedicated professional so I doubt he just blew off the CW, I think he just plain couldn't get that low. Plus he looked bigger than usual in the ring (not just because of the smaller Marquez next to him) and refused to be weighed on fight night.

Then he wanted the fight with Manny at 154 instead of the logical 147 limit. I guess having 10 oz gloves was the main motive, but I can't help but think that one of the reasons he doesn't want to fight more than once a year is because making 147 these days is taking a huge toll on his body, which is natural since as you age it becomes increasingly harder to make weight. Freddie Roach even mentioned that he wanted the Margarito fight at 147 but Tony can't make that anymore.

I think the same is happening with Floyd, but he's reluctant to go to 154 because his speed/reflexes might be affected.
Floyd wanted the fight at 147 but manny wanted the fight at 135 for the WW title...Marquez looked small compared to Floyd lol. Just a min ago they said he look bloated compared to floyd....which one is it? Its okay for Manny to face Margarito who weighs 150 coming into the ring weighing 160....But they be damned if floyd comes into the ring weighing 150 against a guy weighing 144?????? I DONT GET IT?
