if haye fights the klits i really dont fancy his chances against the ageing vitali. vitali is made of strong stuff throughout. his brother is much more mentally suspect but has worked on solid skills to cover his mental weaknesses....i think haye will try and go for wlad first as his chances against the better boxer but weaker mentally brother are higher (in my book anyway) then the old warhorse vitali.....i think they will let vitali sit for as long as they can....

No, what I meant by previous post was an actual statute in WBC rules. This topic was discussed a good while ago and it was figured out that WBC and WBA have that as a rule. I think IBF as well, because Wlad was unifying against IBragimov instead of his mandatory(Tony Thompson) which he fought next.well, IBF has stripped Alexander (and WBC belt is only at shake for Devon, but thats another section)
I agree with you, but I think the purse bit is going to be held soon if Vitali cant agree with the winner of that fight.
Vitali/SOLIS is a done fight.(at the convention)
otherwise Vitali is forced to vacate.
I might be having the belts wrong, but I dont think so, I think every major organization had that as a statuteComment

Unifications take precedence over mandatories provided the sanctioning body is given reasonable notice. The IBF were not given reasonable notice, because Bradley took so long to sign the contract. By the time he signed, the IBF had already ordered purse bids for the mandatory. So they played by their rules.
If Haye wants to unify and if he gives the WBA reasonable notice, he will be allowed to do so.Comment

I salute your knowledge, that ought to clarify the issueUnifications take precedence over mandatories provided the sanctioning body is given reasonable notice. Vitali is mandated to fight the Solis-Austin winner within 100 days of Dec 17 BUT he can get an extension on his mandatory if he's involved in a unification fight.
The winner of Solis-Austin would likely fight someone else for an interim title.Comment

My mistake, read it wrong, that third paragraph is where I was getting my information from, where Suliaman walked out when Vitaly's demand for a voluntary in March and then a mando in June was not met. It turns out he has to meet his mando 100 days after December 17th. That can still mean he fights Vagina in the Spring. No he hasn't. See here.Comment
