Survival mode or not, he made more of an impression on pacquiaos face and body than margarito did and margarito had 17lbs of extra weight. Cotto had to come in at 145lb on the scale which is a handicap while margs got an advantage

I agree but Cotto at 145 is a big disadvantage and a plus for Pacquiao who only comes in at 145 peak weight for performance. Margarito came in almost 6lb heavier on the scale and was able to rehydrate een more. This is a clear disadvantage for Pacquiao

Pacquiao was in the hospital after the Cotto fight, Margs and Clottey Pacquiao wasnt. As for your clottey argument Im only considering who damagaed pac the most cause in the end thats all that matters in a fight like this, and based on both fights I think Cotto did much more damage, Pacquiao only revealed he was hurt by margs because he was giving margarito the little credit he deserved after taking an ass beating and a half by Pac. Again most of what pac was saying seemed like sympathy and compassion for breaking his facial bones

On top of that Cotto won more rounds against Pacquiao than Margs. Margarito really had two rounds in my book. and im being real generous giving him more than one. Pacquiao didnt even seem as conditioned and trained in this fight and he still took it to margs worse than he did against clottey and cotto
