First off, I think it was because of bad schedule. Putting the fight at the same date with a football game. I can't believe some journalist will call it disappointing considering that kind of attendance is really big for a sport like boxing.
which football game was this fight competing with?

41k was good for a tuneup fight, hyped up or not. If they want to fill a big stadium they have to bring 2 stars, not a tuneup fight.

do you feel the low attendance will also signal a lower ppv than the 1.5 million arum expected
with this news, looks like pacs ppv numbers are going to be worst than the clottey fight.

clottey a gate andppv draw? hahaha

floyds the cash cow and people rather pay to see him fight over manny.

        deal with it, *******s

shane has no stanima(shawt bus shawty) so the fight is pointless. and its just another way for the media and *******s to see the pac win as something of importance when it isnt.

i rather that fight not happen.

floyd and pac needs to fight. pac needs to accept the test and the fight gets done

pacs draw power is slowly going out like a light

a tuneup fight with a 24/7, nike commercial, ines sainz, 60 minutes, etc?

if this was a tuneup then why is everyone celebrating like crazy?

Because Margarito was a 8-1 favorite going in and people are stunned Pac stood standing, let alone dominated the fight.

Pac's camp said OK after the clottey fight.
Floyd's camp said 7 days, in spite of him being tested 19 days before the Moslye fight.
Pac's camp said ok to 7 days.
Afterwhich, we NEVER heard from floyd anymore. He went into an indefinite vacation after declaring there was no negotiation.
Pls try to remember them as it happened bro, it will do you a lot good.

Now. can we get on to something more intelligent so we can both contribute something productive to the sport of boxing?
thats not true. floyd finally agreed to give pac 14 days in the first negotiations. after pac walked away to fight clottey. floyd took the old terms of the table(meaning 14 days, money split, weight stip etc) and said 'now is back to no cut offs' 'either no cut offs or no fight'

the "second negotations" team pac were asking for 7 days claiming they agreed to no cut off at all. floyd said no cut off or no fight, team pac ask for 7 days so what is there to respond to?

no reason to respond when they are still asking for days

Boxing isn't supposed to hold so many people, the die hard supporters would be at pubs or buying ppvs watching it at home if they couldn't get a viewable seat

I reckon the numbers were still fantastic anything over the usual 18k is great and it shows us that boxing has a good future
