if pacs resume is laughable, floyd is on the same boat... the more these fanboys discredit one fighters accomplishments, it completely derails their stance on their fave fighters wins as well.... ******ed.

so if both fighters faced outclassed/lesser opponents? pac clearly dominated more convincingly.

FLOYD DID NOT RUIN ANY FIGHTER before pac got to them.... if you think otherwise, wake up. floyd doesnt "ruin" fighters. LOL.

its really tit-for-tat with these two guys....

      floyd:
      • beat faded oscar, BUT barely did so...
      • embarrassed ricky
      • beat jmm, BUT marquez had to jump up 2 divisions
      • embarrassed shane, BUT mora exposed how faded shane really was

      pac:
      • embarrassed oscar, BUT oscar was weight-drained
      • demolished/ended ricky
      • demolished cotto, BUT was cotto damaged goods? IMO, no
      • dominated clottey, BUT clottey? really?
      • demolished/dominated margs, BUT so did shane

if pac is "required" to fight martinez/p-will/etc. to prove himself,
i assume floyd is required to do so as well.... but floyd fanboys are too quick to excuse floyds shortcomings, and actually justify floyds "vacation".... although floydboys were quick to label shane a ducker when he wanted a vacation.... bottom line, floyd is choosing not to fight ANYBODY.... at least pac is getting work in... as a fight fan, i appreciate this....
Floyd and Manny’s competition level have been about even. If you consider the best 5 guys that Manny and Floyd have fought, relative to when they fought them, what weight the fight was held at and the caliber of fighter that the opponent was, it’s really close. Manny’s best 5 are, Barrera twice, Morales 3 times, Marquez twice, Cotto and Margarito. Floyd’s best 5 would be, Castillo twice, Corrales, Genaro Hernandez, Oscar De La Hoya and Zab Judah. I rate Zab over Shane because Zab was much sharper in 2006 than Shane was in 2010.

After that both of the guys have a few more quality guys on their ledgers. Manny has Jorge Solis who was undefeated when they fought, Oscar Larios, Joshua Clottey, Nedal Hussein, Jorge Julio, Lehlo Ledwaba , Emanuel Lucero and a few others. Floyd has Victor Sosa, Carlos Baldomir, Chop Chop Corley, Arturo Gatti, Angel Manfredy and a few more B level quality guys. It’s really about the same to me.

As for the Pac vs Floyd fight...
I think some of you are truly *****s and no matter what circumstances get presented you will find a way to twist it into something more comfortable with your perception of Floyd. This dream fight has not gained momentum , if anything it has lost some. Just imagine the more you yank the taste of this great event from people’s taste buds eventually the public will not want to eat it anymore. Do you think people will buy their flights and book their rooms only to have to cancel in case the fight does not happen? It becomes aggravating and it’s scary to put your money out and not be sure.

I have asked this question so many times and I never get an answer. If Manny continues to fight on because Floyd chooses to be on vacation or whatever excuse he uses next time ..What if Manny loses before fighting Floyd? That will ruin the biggest fight in the history of boxing. If you stood to make 50 million dollars would you chance it by letting your opponent dance with other dance partners. I surely would not.

This fight does not need to simmer anymore. It is being overcooked. Here is the reality. Floyd does not feel like fighting. Period. It may not be fear. It may be motivation. Or it could be reservations. Who knows? But for whatever reason he just did not want to fight Manny after they agreed to the blood testing. I know that may be hard to fathom and you have to come up with all of these reasons, but that is the reality of this situation.

I am so happy today, many posters are smartening up.

Props to you for having the intelligence to see what is happening.

Personally, I am not at all convinced that Arum will not make Cotto next.

But you are correct, this fight will happen when Arum is ready.

All "real" businessmen have contingency plans in case one option falls through, which is highly likely when dealing with soldier boy jr. This ain't the hood where you can have your friends paint a minivan with a logo and drive around telling everyone you run a record label. Arum knows what he's doing.

Seems to me like he's keeping his fighter busy and maximizing his investment. Here is a better question...what's your boy up to?

I spoke to him earlier. He's at work, as usual.

Getting back to boxing, yeah Arum's doing a great job maximizing his investment. Cotto? Chavez Jr? Mosley? Marquez? Which ****ty fight will it be next?

Sparring with a gf doesn't count as work, now prepping for a court case that's full time employment.

My bad. Is he on a yacht with his uncle Roger, Lil Bow Wow and a 5 year old rapper named Shorty Glock making it rain money stacks out in the Pacific?
