The pacman wanted to stop the game at around the 11th. Pacquiao had to take a second or two and looked at the referee and said, "uhhhh ref, that right eye is about to pop out. what you gonna do ref? at least to me that's what it seems. but no, none of the ref and margarito side wanted to stop it because tony wanted it to continue.

for what he did to Cotto, assuming his hands were aided, then he deserved every last left-cross to his orbital bone and eye socket.

But Robert Garcia and the ref should be ashamed of themselves for not stopping the fight. The ref is there to protect BOTH fighters, the trainer is there to protect HIS fighter. The fight should've been stopped in the 10th when Manny asked the ref and doctor to stop it.

Fight should have been stopped. It was brutal. I don't care if Margo murdered 15 puppies before the fight, watching that was torture. Pac was right, they should have done something.

It's sad when a fighter knows the opponent can't take anymore and the ref, who isn't the one taking blows to the P4P # 1 doesn't do jack about it. That ref shouldn't be allowed inside the ring anymore...

That isnt entirely fair to Garcia. Margarito had his moments, and he did the best he could.

As much I hate Margarito and enjoyed watching his face get crushed, the fight should've been stopped for the sake of boxing..My uncle died in boxing after getting beat just like that but he kept fighting back too..sometimes you have to be saved from yourself.
