He overreacted to his knockdown and got overly defensive.

He may have to go back to the little leagues and fight some ten rounders to get his confidence up.

          he looked like an amateur...

he also looks like a bantamweight to me

itl be rough coming down in weight from what i hear
          i believe he's 30 years s old...?

physically the guy has the tools

he sees punches early and he's got power early

all this stuff being said the guy has gone 35 rounds as a pro including saturday

          tough match considering
lots of people i know in boxing were thinking this would be a tough fight (of course nobody thought it would be litterally void of action)

next time he hurts a guy to the body he's going to have to learn to finish him
          that was pathetic

You guys really know very little about boxing, looking at these comments. You guys can't really see a lot of the technical stuff he is doing.

Rigondeaux fought alright, he definitely should have applied more pressure after he hurt Cordoba to the body though.

Just give him a 24/7, a stack of fake $100 bills, and some bling and he'll be regarded by some as the most exciting man in the sport despite his ring performances

I think he looked really bad. He got a taste of the other guys power and ran for the hills. Not good on such a high profile event.

He was more aggressive the last couple fights I saw of him but I think since it was a title shot, he wanted to play it safe and cruise especially after going down.

I saw some things that Rigondeaux needs to work on, but with this being his 7th pro fight I was very impressed! I had it 117-109 like one of the judges. The fight wasn't the most action packed or exciting, but Rigondeaux doesn't deserve all the blame.
