So you are all in agreement that it was a rookie mistake?

Hopefully Mike will take that one down and learn from it.

        Was it a rookie mistake?

He was clearly gassed for the next few rounds and was throwing punches with absolutely no pop behind them for the rest of the fight.

I think many of you ****ing idiots are giving Soto way too much credit for his work during the middle part of the fight. Most of the punches he was throwing to the body were being blocked by Jones and I felt Soto could've done much more.

Jones found a reserve of energy in the final few rounds and snatched the fight late, imo.

        Thoughts.
rookie mistake. he will learn from it, althought I think the fight was a draw

I didn't give him any 10-8 for his idiocy in round 2 where like 10% of his punches actually landed cleanly.

He lost the fight and got a gift.

When I watched that round, a few things popped up into my mind.

                - It was stupied. A rookie move.

                - One of the best things I have ever seen, in terms of just pure action in a one-sided fashion, in a very long time. Wasted energy, but brilliant to watch. Had to be at least 50 shots, 20 to 30 landing.

                - I also scored the round 10-8. Virtually all Jones. Forget the few punches that Soto landed. Nothing in comparison.

Fun to watch. ******, however. Rookie mistake.

karass should have won. not because he looked better because he nlooked like **** but because he was more active in the middle rounds. jones tired himself out against a fighter he obviously didnt know enuff about. but jones punches were devastating. karass' punches not so much. but he still should have won imo.

at the bar everybody started going wild when he unleashed, and I told anyone that could hear me "he better finish him off, or else he's done" and sure enough.

                    Definetely a rookie mistake.

Rookie mistake... Nothing more. He'll learn from that. It's all his other skills that r in question IMO.
