Pacquiao Fought the same fight Cotto did against Margarito

& was able to keep it up for the full 12 rounds as opposed to just 6. Pacquiao handled some very tough pressure at times and used his quicker hand and footspeed to control the ring last night, but at least in my opinion what was most impressive was his stamina.

A key difference is that Pacquiao threw better, more varied combinations to the head and body, and that Cotto went backwards in straight lines a lot more than Pac, who used lateral movement and angles.

Obviously stamina is part of it too, but I didn't think that Cotto won all of the first 6 rounds against Margarito for example.

yea he kind of did but manny used angles and didn't back str8 up, cotto boxed well but continued to let margs pressure back him into corners and against the ropes where marg has the ability to put his good body punchin to work

as early as round 2, cotto just kept backing up and thus was often push against the ropes the entire fight and the punishment accumulated.

pac stood his ground in the center of the ring, unlike cotto, who stayed against the ropes. that's a big difference as tony can't really fight in the center of the ring.

pac backed up quite a bit but ur right he stood his ground much more then Miguel cotto

Are we all forgetting that Margarito cheated against cotto. Geez that's the only reason why he won, by cheating.

Margaresto most likely used plaster against Cotto. Margaresto got beat up by a fighter who was about 18 pounds less than him fight night!
