I swear to god this is the ******est thread I have ever seen. margarito hits Pacquaio more than anyonre has and was fighting from the first second to the last second. He also NEVEr took a bad step and could have won rounds 1, 2, and 8. He hurt Pacquaio and has Pacquiao running at times, he also didn't ru, get knocked down twice, embarass his familly and get KOed while trying to run like someone we kow. He didn't shell up like a turtle and do nothing like someone else. He didn't get KTFO after taking his first haymeyker like a certain somebody. Also never did he quit on his stool and stop the moment the going got tough like a certain cross dressing slut.

Maybe he missed Pac allmost going down to a body shot in round 6 (i think) and he certainly faired the best vs Pac since Marquez. He came forward practically every second of the fight and he did throw a lot. TS FAILS to realise that it's not too easy too throw a 100 punches per round when your face is getting hit by 5 in order to land 1.. pac's speed was just too much.

Compared to Cotto who QUIT and moonwalked from round 4 onwards he was amazing

exactly, what more do you want from the guy.... alot of posters here said they wanted to see him get a brutal beating, well there you go he satisfied all of you. alot of fans wanted him to hurt pacquiao and beat him, he managed to hurt him, but couldn't satisfy us completely by getting the win, but still he fought hard and as a fan im satisfied with that... so why is everyone complaining

He threw over 800 shots, wtf do you mean half the output? Pacquaio got to throw more because he is faster. Here is a nice story for you margarito landed at a higher connect percentage than cotto, and threw more. He also didn't get knocked down at will, and try to run only to get KOed and have his wife walk out on him. He took a loss, but he has something to hang his hat on. Not to mention he took harder flusher shots than cotto, clottey, hatton did. Oscar took similar combos but quit early before he would have been put out.

You guys are failing to see that Cotto never once mentioned that he was willing to die in the right like Margarito did. Cotto is a much smaller man and did well against Manny until he was hurt by the second knockdown. Margarito on the other hand is a huge fighter and was able to absorb punches, so he was a bit more durable. Had Cotto been the same size he could of easily put up a much better showing than Margarito did over the later rounds. Either way Margarito didn't want to open up anymore because he was scared of the punishment. He had zero chance of victory the way he was in his shell.

Yeah, 800 punches and how many of those were jabs.Margaritos game plan isn't to throw pitty pat jabs. That stat line is very skewed.

Okay, there's a difference between being a warrior and being a chump, and chump was Antonio Margarito. Sure, he may of looked like a warrior to some people because he was taking a savage beating but he was looking for a way out of the fight. When you DON'T execute your gameplan, you certainly are NO warrior. Margaritos gameplan is always to out throw his opponent and go over 100 punchers in every round, which he never did. Had Margarito been a REAL Mexican Warrior he would of went out there, not given a ****, and got his. Manny took this dudes soul last night and the jury is still out there on if Margarito could ever beat a world class fighter, cleanly.

I know what ur saying but i cant agree, the guy as much as i hate him had plenty of outs with that eye but refused to take them and kept pressing forward all night into the meat grinder that is Pacquaio

This is so ******. I swear I find it funny how people can hate him, and refuse to accept reality all because he beat their favorite fighter. Listen man Cotto won two rounds, and margarito could have easily been given 2, 6, and 8, especially the round, 8 I think, where he out threw out landed and hurt Pacquaio.

If you want to discredit margarito for fighting like a warrior AND not getting stopped thats on you. However if you want to call guys who were stopped while running warriors, and discredit a guy who never was close to being dropped and fought his ass off until the closing bell a scarred fighter for not "administering a gameplan" when he was blind for half the scrap then I do not see how you call yourself a boxing supporter.
