Shane with hitting him with big 1 punches shots over and over again as opposed to Pacqiauo landing quick combos, which will have mor effect on you, and Shane hits harder, so thats why.

mosley is a monster puncher and he was teeing off on Margarito putting full force behind his shots

pacquiao is the much smaller man and was peppering him with alot of punches

he actually rocked Margarito with a right hook late and he hurt him to the body plenty of times

To answer the OP:

Shane is a lot bigger than Pac.
Marg was weight drained vs Shane
Marg got caught with the plaster before the fight so his mind wasn't fully on the job.
Shane hits harder than Pac.

I don't necessarily agree with all of those but they are the excuses you'll hear.

Perhaps because the Mosley camp didn't go very well for Margarito. Thats the excuse Capetillo used to explain why he "panicked" and went for the "training gauze".
