Might I add, not one of Wlad's punches in his final flurry landed? Can you say payday for Castillo?

In fact many people thought Castillo was going to easily beat Wlad -- see http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=33874.

Wlad's dominance and win over Castillo were very impressive.

        You guys are pathetic.

        Take a LOOK at Castillo:

        http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=024963

He was 215lbs, it was only his 8th fight at Heavyweight, and he looked like a deer caught in Headlights from the opening bell.

LOOK who he fought to a draw with as a Cruiserweight:

He was a very poor level of opponent. Certianly nothing to get the least bit excited about.

However, they seem to be on the same page now so I will also reserve judgement like you are. Certain people like to downplay the Castillo win but the guy had just beaten Michael Moorer and there were a number of posters on here saying that he had a better than even chance to beat Wlad. Wlad looked smoother, faster, and more focused in that fight. His body language was great and his weight was down a little. The Peter fight will tell us all we need to know about Wlad and his future with Manny.
All this talk about Wlad not being good cause of Steward its all bs and some the dudes on here are lil girls, Wlad is one of my favorite boxers aight but I would never say he started being ****ty when Steward started training him cause Steward is a great trainer and all this talk bout that is all ****, Wlad underestimated Sanders and paid the price he fell apart in the Brewster fight and paid the price, its one of those things in life, he is one his way back now and fighting Peter in a title eliminator and all this **** bout Steward not being a good trainer its all ****....

.....The point of Nautilus post is to show that alot of people on here thought that Castillo had a serious chance before the fight. Those people included: Spinxjinx, Abdiel, Soundtraveler, The Truth, and Sactown. Are they pathetic as well or are just the Klit fans pathetic? You can't have it both ways. I tend to think that all of those guys have pretty good boxing knowledge even if I disagree with them from time to time.

That had NOTHING to do with Castillo.

Everytime Wlad fights, there's a group of people who thing he's going to lose A) because he's lost to ****ty fighters in the past, B) because it upsets people like you and C) because it's the low profile fights he's tended to lose in the past.

Like I said, all you need to do is LOOK at Castillo's record, see how small he was, how little he'd fought at Heavyweight, and you can easilly see how he's nowhere near anything to brag about as a victory for a 6'6 top 10 Heavyweight.

...You never answered the question. You said that Nautilus was pathetic for having the same view as several other credible posters. Are they or are they not pathetic too? Your response should be either yes or no.

Did they create a thread about a damaged HEavyweight who's been stopped by two poor fighters twice in his last 6 fights being the best Heavyweight in the world?

Did they read a Don King interview and create a thread misquoting him in the title and trying to twist it to their warped agenda?

                      No they didn't.

So in the end, is anyone that thinks Wlad might have been beaten by a poor fighter pathetic? No, they're not, because it's happened THREE times before.

The bottom line, is that no matter how hard any of you nut huggers tries to sugar coat it, Castillo was not an impressive win.
