when vitali made lennox look bad age meant everything

Wait for Haye to heroically come out and say "lets make this happen!" when Vitali turns 40 in a few months and retires. Then Haye can say Vitali ducked him. And the crosseyed british ******s on this forum will nod in agreement.
Old basically means past prime, Briggs is way further past his prime than Vitali is. Stop the BS.

What's the proof of that? You have to pretend Briggs was better than he really was I guess because he gave Lewis some trouble but he was never that great. He's declined but not THAT much, he would have lost to Vitali at any point in his career.

Anyone who's watched Vitali fight after fight can see how bad he is now compared to a few years ago. He did hit his prime a little late but he also fell off of it rather quickly. He's become stiff and bulky and relies 100% on parrying with his big arms, the evasive body and head movement he was once renouned for given his massive size is almost completely gone, he just stands there and picks shots like against Arreolla.

Vitali took a couple years off for injuries. Briggs is slightly younger of the two. Completely marginalizing the victory because of a huge age difference I can understand, but you're grasping for semantic little table scraps. They're at practically the same points in their careers (the very end), Vitali is just better in every way and doesn't lose so while Briggs' age is at the forefront of his image Vitali's is something people are just occasionally reminded of.

I really never put much stock in the record, Steelspammer on the other swears by it.
Haye was never undisputed champ of anything.

David Haye will never step in the ring with either Kiltschko brother. That much should be obvious by now. Heck, I'd be happy if he fought the Chageav's and Adamek's of the world, but I don't think even THAT is going to happen. What a joke of a champion this man is. And besides all that, that WBA title he's holding is as paper as it gets! Wlad beat the rightful champion (Chagaev) so WLAD should be the current WBA champion. Haye is a joke. And it's not funny.

Your post makes perfect sense if you switch the names around.
