I'm really amazed what perception can do out of a fight... and of course that Manny is a popular nice guy...

Let's take a look... Mayweather fought Mosley... and everybody is saying that Shane got old... he ain't prime Shane anymore and he also was inactive before he fought Mayweather...

Shane ain't got old overnight... he was old a long time before... he was also old as he gave Margarito the beating of a lifetime. After that Maragrito was also inactive... he fought now one journeyman... so basically the situation with this fight is even worse then May-Mosley... Margarito was also inactive and before that got an beating of an lifetime from a guy who was old.

Arum wouldn't let Pac into the ring with Margarito if he would pose a thread to him...

If Margarito should win... and that's a big IF (I don't even give him a 10% chance) it's just a sad showing what boxing has become... let's face it... there are weight classes for a reason... this match won't be a battle of skill... this is simply a size freak match for a paper 8th championship that nobody cares for...

You have seen what Cotto has done to Margarito with his skill alone in the first 6 rounds... Pacquiao doesn't stop, Pacquiao doesn't quit... I don't know if he knocks him out but my believe is that by the finals rounds Margarito's face should be a mass and this one has to be stopped or an UD for Pacquiao...

Again, if May would fight Margarito today everybody would say he was inactive and before that he got beaten by old man Mosley viciously and everybody would call for May to fight Mosley instead of Margarito... but that's the magic of being the nice guy...

One poster is abslolutely right... human beings want to be lied at... Pacquiao lies at you at tells you he does it for legacy, to be the best and and and... in the end Pacquiao is the same as every other boxer as well... they all search a respectable way of getting rich and famous... Mayweather is honest about and you hate him for that because he doesn't lie to you... he doesn't give you a chance of rooting for him because he is honest...

pac coming in at 144 is actually GREAT for him. when pac went over 147 in training camp he was slow & sluggish so roach made him go down. you will get the best pac at this weight which plays into his strengths....

Your talking out of your ass....Pac trains over 150 for Clottey and weigh in at about 145 3/4 and threw 1200 punches in the fight. How all of a sudden he feels sluggish above 147 What everybody is overlooking is that this might be a fight where they experiment without ped. Pac doesn't even look as ripped. This could, also, be the reason everyone in the camp is so worried. Something is just not right about this!!!

When moving up in weight class, against bigger and stronger men, its foolish to try to match their weight !!

Why the gasps? Its Pacquiao's moment, he KNOWS !! He knew speed was the key, why in the WORLD Ariza thought strength is the key I don't know, many others the same but good ol Freddie Roach knew better and let his charge get that great speed back.

Hatton felt that power at the lower weight class. Pac will be at the OPTIMUM PEAK of all his powers !!!

If he came in big he would be too slow and that would be his undoing.

Yes, the truth hurts... he is honest... when he says he is the best... he is honest or do you believe that he doesn't believe he is the best??? If he is the best is another topic... but he says what is true to him... he is honest that he fights for Mosley... he was honest and said he fights Mosley now because it makes the most money... yes, a few years earlier a meeting would have had more worth... but the fact is... that a few years earlier he wouldn't have made this money with him... it's true... it's not what you as a fight fan want to hear...

oh yea?was manny is old and shot?mayweather sighned the contract to fight manny in january manny was the one that didn't sighn, i guess manny only wants to fight opponents who are recently comin off of loses and fighters that are easy to hit
