Comments Thread For: Reading Between the Lines at Pacquiao-Margarito Weigh-in

I’d be lying if I said that my earliest experiences in Dallas were all positive. For starters, my three-man convoy and I arrived late to the weigh-in, just barely catching the penultimate event of Friday evening at approximately 5:20 PM Central.

Yes Pac could easily make 140 but he don't wanna go down there. David Diaz is gone. And he wants no part of Bradley or Alexander trust me. 2nd Margarito is not a true jr middleweight if he was he would not be able to make 150. Mayweather is now a true welterweight and he couldn't make 144 to fight Marquez that's only 3 pounds off of 147 and Margs is now 4 pounds under the jr middleweight limit do the math! Margs should of came in heavier. I'm sure Pac didn't have a 10 million dollar penalty for every pound over weight. That's just Pac's own commission rules for Mayweather. I honestly had no problem with Pac so ever. But it's obvious he's not out to be the best he's just out there cheating history with his fake belts and catchweight title fights. At least Mayweather is honest about why he's in the sport.

pac coming in at 144 is actually GREAT for him. when pac went over 147 in training camp he was slow & sluggish so roach made him go down. you will get the best pac at this weight which plays into his strengths....

my money is on pac for this one.....

There's a big difference in weight and it is not at an advantage for Pacquiao. But i believe Pacquiao will still win the fight no matter what.

Pac has no shot at knocking out Marg. If he gets tired he's getting knocked out. Marg is gonna be relentless in there.

your boy wouldn't fight margs if they were giving him 4 belts in diff weight classes ....btw why are you trying to bring PBF in a pacquiao thread? he is on vacation/retired you idiot...that is until someone is old and shot or small and shot to fight

That's what everyone said before DLH, Cotto and Hatton. That's what everyone is saying now.
