SRR started lost only once in first 100 fights and his notable wins, and beat like 10 hall of fame fighters. He never scored a draw against Agapitho Sanchez and almost get knocked out in Round 4 by a guy name Nedal Hussien and relied on a referee giving a long count than point deduction to save him. In 200 fights, he never was never knocked out, the only KO loss was due to heat exhaustation against Maxim a fight for the LHW title he was winning.
Henry Armstrong almost had held 4 titles out of 8 titles, in a era were there was one champ per divison, he also gave up more pounds to garcia than Pac will give up to Margs tomorrow.
Harry Greb beat 13 future hall of famers, while knocking guys out with a blind eye, also fighting almost every few weeks.
Sam Langford started out as low as WW and 5 feet 7 and beat Heavyweights, does that make him a god??? Also btw, he was blind one eye for a good portion of his career.
Willie Pep- defensive wizard that help redefine the sport. Was like 132-1 or whatever when he started out.
Muhammad Ali- took three years off, came back and beat this mythical beast who was 44-0 called George Foreman and avenged his only loss to Frazier, had great chin, speed, and impacted the sport more than Pac ever did.
Carlos Monzon, retired after 100 fights, never knocked out, beat every opponent he faced by avenging his only three loses, btw, he was shot in the leg and fought with tissue and tendon damage that decreased his mobility and agility, and YET HE STILL KNOCK GUYS THE F OUt.
Also do your boxrec on these guys Benny Leonard, Gene Tunney, Joe Gans, Archie Moore, Joe Louis just to name a few.
I am not even a Pac hater, but YEs i can see people having issues saying that he is a top 5 fighter.Comment
