I held my tongue when they said they would make this fight for a contracted 150lb jr MW bout. , but now him coming in at 144 is just ****ing absurd. If you want to fight MW then weigh in at MW. Pac can weigh whatever weight he wants. There nothing in the contract stipulating that he must weigh above a certain minimum weight. What boxing rule even states that if you fight at a certain weight limit (like say welterweight), you have to weigh in at exactly 141-147 so that fight can be legit?

Stop b!tching about this woman. Boxers nowadays fighting at a certain limit are heavier come fight night like 10+lbs over. This nothing new. So if the other guy chooses to weigh smaller, that's not our f'kin problem.

Pacquiao at 144.6 can weigh in as far as 150 at fight night (more like 148-149).

Its ok because its allowed. Your jack the ripper example missed the mark completely because if someone did what jack the ripper did to women, he'd be executed... ESPECIALLY in texas where they actually have the death penalty.

I guess people are not getting what I'm saying. Catchweight fights are OK; you hit the nail on the head. BUT CATCHWEIGHT TITLE FIGHTS AREN'T...MANNY WILL FOREVER BE KNOWN FOR 8 DIFFERENT TITLES IN 8 DIFFERENT WEIGHT DIVISIONS BY THE END OF TOMORROW AND HE WILL FOREVER BE KNOWN AS THE ONLY BOXER TO DO SO...lol, yeah my allegory was extreme, but some of the justifications for this fight have been on the same side of the spectrum

lets define these 2 words LIMIT and MAXIMUM

limit - the maximum or minimum amount, or the largest or lowest quantity, that is available or allowed

maximum - the largest amount, number, extent, or degree possible or allowed

therefore i conclude those two words u mentioned are pretty much the same

if u convert that sentence into a mathematical equation it would be like

1 (weight limit) = 1 (weight maximum)

but you are trying to say that

when did 1(weight limit) equals to 2(weight maximum)?

thus you are contradicting yourself.
