Well people may hear 8 titles in 8 divisions, but years, decades from now the real fans will research Manny's career. And we know how much objective information we have on fights from the past right now, well imagine the information that will be available in the future. The true fight fans will understand what was at play.

Manny is many things, a great fighter and a true champion at times, but 8 titles in 8 divisions is a deception that is allowed by this sport's corrupt sanctioning bodies. That is a dirty secret that will not dissapear.

I say that as a Pacquiao fan. So really, yeah, the belt of this fight means nothing to me. I want to see a great fight, and whoever wins, I know they're not the champion.

Everyone knows the WBC belts are complete and utter bullshut. Lets not all of a sudden pretend that it is a travesty the winner of this is the JMW champion.

The fact is this 150 pound catchweight is actually helping Marg. If Pac's team really wanted to drain Marg they would have made it a WW fight. Lets just appreciate this as the good fight it will be.

exactly .... True Margarito is the naturally bigger man, but how much of a size advantage is it really for Margarito by making the fight at a catchweight?

Why does Roach always mouth off about size not making a difference .. if that's the case why the need for a 150 lb catchweight?

The rules allow a fighter to weigh in under the weight class for **** sake. Do people here not know boxing. To add to this, we have morons who calculate Margarito is drained even though he can cut like 10-15 lbs of water weight and has 30 hours to rehydrate. Some people don't even understand that. Some people thing pacquiao has the advantage because margarito is drained... first of all he won't be drained, second of all he will weigh like 20 lb more than Pac on fight night. I am failing to see the Pacquiao advantage.

pac could've forced margarito to fight at 147 lbs, but instead gave him 3 extra pounds to play with. THAT'S A ****EN ADVANTAGE FOR MARGARITO YOU DUMB ASS ****!!!

the problem I have is that it's too much of a difference in size between the opponents, even though Pacquiao is down with it that doesn't mean that there wont be too much weight between them, like you say the plaster man could come in 20-25 pounds more than Manny, I guess I am over reacting though, all who know me already know how I feel about this fight, I'm reasonable enough to admit that I DID over react a bit but I'm just entirely against this fight overall

the only things that killed the integrity of this fight is the fact that they are fighting for a vacant belt at a catchweight and marg didn't deserve to box again, much less a title shot.

you started making posts calling corruption and all those stuffs right after pac weighed really low for a jr middleweight bout. you still tried to defend yourself about how low it is not to make the "minimum weight limit" for the said fight and you may have missed my previous post so i'll say it again. you were mistaken, admit it, and move on... you can't blame not knowing of the said rules yourself on corruption and you can't just suddenly want to make a new rule for a minimum weight.

you had alot of points arguing about the catchweight nature of the fight, but please give up arguing about the validity of pac's weight... it just doesn't sound too intelligent.

How about the relentless body punching coming from a 165 pounder?

STFU, the only reason pac gave marg an "extra 3 pounds to play with" is so it will technically be a Jr. middleweight fight and pac can say he got his 8th title.
