Comments Thread For: Tim Bradley: Matthysse Was Robbed of Win Against Judah

During a recent interview with BoxingScene.com, WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley was in full agreement with Oscar De La Hoya, who believes junior welterweight Lucas Matthysse was robbed of a win last weekend in Newark, New Jersey. Last Saturday at the Prudential Center, Zab Judah (40-6-2, 27KOs) won a close twelve round split decision over previously undefeated Matthysse (27-1, 25KOs).

I love Timmy such a good boxing mind,I been saying this for awhile since the fight Zab hates body shots..He was doing fine but the body shots started to take effect on him and was the main reason for him going down..I don't however feel that anyone was robbed in that fight..TBH if Matts would have won I would have said good call too,it was a close fight I had it a draw sooo I would'int be mad if either fighter won..

I Agree with you, the fight could have gone either way. I had it a draw but if judges had it either way, I wouldn't call it robbery.

bradley would have got ktfo by that left uppercut. and delahoya got his ass whipped by felix sturm, and they robbed sturm of the win.. so oscar needs to keep his mouth shut. bradley will get his chance to fight zab, because zab will be ibf champ after his next fight, and bradley is gona lose to alexander.. so their time will come when they have to meet in the ring.

I agree completely, people are saying Mattysse didn't do anything, well Judah did less,he was hurt,he threw less & landed less,he lost a close fight to me!!

Matthysse won this clearly. I think this is one of the worst robbery I have ever seen. Those judge who gave the fight to Judah should be fired and never assigned as judges again. We don't need corrupt judges robbing a boxer of his well deserved victory.

Haters gonna say it was a close fight or they had it a draw. But they don't know anything. They are as ignorant as the judges who gave the decision to Judah.

I've been saying this all along. I read alot of post on this forum defending the decision, and how Zab could've pulled a win.

And I've kept saying that Matthyse clearly won that fight, and Zab got a gift win.

There is no way Zab could've won that fight. Again, ring generalship and an occasional jab do not win fights when your opponent is outworking you to the body.

Glad Tim spoke up, and of course hes totally correct, anyone who watched that fight knows Zab didnt do ****. Was odd I remember even Lederman giving Zab round 2, a round where I dont think he threw more than 2 punches!
