W Klitschko -Peter the biggest HW fight since V Klitschko-LLewis

I think this fight is the best and biggest fight in the HW division since Vitali-Lewis. Wladimir Klitschko is a great fighter with great skill and potential who is trying to get back to greatness after a few setbacks. Sam Peter is young gun who is undefeated and is considered by many to be the next big thing in the HW division. I think this is a huge fight and its great for the HW division, mad props for Wlad and Peter for making this happen...

sorry to disagree, but no this is not the biggest fight since then...truly, this is a pretty good fight, but it's not a title fight, yet it has title implications. For the winner of this nout, who most certainly will get a title shot in their next fight, the next fight will be a great one for THEM.

it is not the biggest...but it is the most compelling in my view since Lewis/Vitali

again that doesn't make it the biggest or most "important"...but it is pretty important for each fighter and compelling as a HW fight...it is not Toney vs Ruiz where we expect Ruiz to hold and Toney to lax for 12 rounds...it is two big HWs...one with good power and talent but a weak chin vs one with big power but untested...it should be a true HW fight...someone is going down...maybe both...anyone someone is not hearing the final bell...

            Lewis/Vitali wasn't even a PPV.
I don't even remember when this fight is going down.

It's being hyped as the most action-packed since Vitali-Lewis, but this fight really doesn't mean anything as far as boxing or the heavyweight division is concerned. All it does is erase one of these two fighters from the rankings...unless of course we get a draw or controversial decision

or Klitschko gets knocked out and takes it to trial

I cant think of a heavyweight fight since Lewis/Vitali, that I wanted to see more. So for the most part I agree.

The favorite right now is under 6.5 rounds. Everyone is expecting there to be a knockout, or multiple knockdowns. This fight will be great. There has already been a statement when I was discussing the fight with someone else and I mentioned how there hasn't really been a good heavyweight showdown the entire year, and he said that there hasn't been a good heavywieght fight since Vitali vs Lewis. So I agree with the topic and want to thank both Peter and Wlad for stepping up, putting all the bull**** behind them, and facing one another knowing that one of them isn't going to win. Thats the problem with the heavyweights today that the matches are set up in a way that most of the time you can tell who is going to win, not in this one.

But you have to admit that the fight really doesn't mean anything as neither guy needs to be fighting for a title anytime soon
