True boxing fans know one thing .... nothin's "sure". If you truly believe Marquez was "lucky" to have survived, you must not have watched the fight. he countered Mr. Pac like there was no tomorrow. If you believe "luck" saved Marquez, then you don't give Pac much credit, do you? Truth is, Manny was outboxed by the superior fighter on that night, over the remaining 11 rounds. Luck my ass.
And don't bother with the "nut hugger" ****. I went into that fight wanting to see Pac take him out. I was on my feet screaming for Pac to make Marquez stay down in round one. it didn't happen. That fight finished with my respect going to Marquez for his performance and I thought Pac lost his moment in history. Whe everybody was watching, Pac couldn't finish off a very damaged man. Why? Cause he bit off more than he could chew. He was brave to take/seek the Marquez fight, but he was not ready to go 12 rounds against that combination of skill and heart.
I see Manny for who he is, but nothing more. He has to do something more than go 1-1-1 in his last three fights, no matter how good his competition. His legacy so far is smackin' Barrera around and then going the distance against the other two top guys. That's not the stuff of legends. Sure Manny has got three world titles behind him, but he's not being measured by anything but his performance at Feather right now. I take nothing away from him, but he's in danger of becoming yesterday's man if he doesn't actually beat a top tier guy, soon.
ENOUGH OF YOUR SO CALLED BOXING KNOWLEDGE *******! I'VE PWNED YOU BEFORE, DON'T LET ME PWN YOU AGAIN! YOU'RE THE GAY ASKING WHERE PAC FANS GOT THEIR CONFIDENCE IN THE MORALES REMATCH, RIGHT?! I'VE BEATEN YOU BLACK AND BLUE ON THAT, YOU DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO ANSWER BECAUSE YOU KNEW I'VE **** ON YOU.
Marquez + May 8 2004 = One lucky basterd fo surviving a sure KO loss in round 2 from Pacman............AND gettin a draw becuz of a paid Arum judge who don't know Math skills.
NYA----HAHAHA----HAHAHAHA!
thats bull****. Luck had nothing to do with it..it's called SKILL, which Marquez has much, much more of than Pac ever will. He had a better chin that Pac expected, therefore pac's gameplan went out the window. He was totally lost for the last 10 rd's on what to do with JMM since he couldnt ko him. Thats why he got outboxed the remainder of the fight. I like pac, but know and admit his limitations. Every post you make on the subject sounds more like blind loyality instead of objective views.
Pacman jest went left hand crazy and he even said his punches felt like punches comin from a flyweight afta ta first round becuz somewhere in ta first, he had injured it. ACCEPT IT ****IN LOSERS!
Marquez boxed Pac.......**** outta here, AND I GUESS HE DESERVED the DRAW TOO????!!!!!! HES A LUCKY BASTERD. If truth shall be truth, he shoulda lost by a point. YOU DON'T CALL THAT LUCK??!!!!!!

Pac wasn't lost. Pac knew what he was doin, but time was his opponent. Marquez woulda been anotha Pac victim on ta 2nd round!!!!!! YOU probably thought ta same. I don't think you were thinkin to yerself that night afta ta 1st round " OH, Marquez is so good and handsome, he's gonna take Pac to 12 round and win". nyahahahahaha.
Pacman + Marquez gettin whooped + 3 KD + 2nd round, square root of Pacman being an AMAZING FINISHER = WTF happened on May 8 2004?, answer.........MARQUEZ GETTIN LUCKY!

You really need to quit with this **** I thought we had already settled it in the last post about "morales, barrera, pac" so just stop with this ****, you are a baised poster, you dont see any side ecxept the side of pac, all of us that saw the fight saw that Marquez came back and got a draw and if those knock downs in the first round wouldnt have happened Marquez would have clearly won the fight.

you don't ****in take out a thing that happenes in a fight MENG!
I see all ta sides. I try to be observant and objective and what I saw against Marquez is that he got lucky. Ta moment Pac had mentioned his unfortunate injuries that he suffered that night, May 8 2004......JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ HAS REJECTED REMATCH OFFERINGS! THUS......ta belief and TA TRUTH that Marquez got lucky and he don't want none of ma main man Pac no mo!
