Freddie Roach makes comments like this and wonders why people question Pac's cleanliness. Really? Natural welters can barely move to 160 but this guy who has suffered three losses in lower divisions can dominate in the higher ones. 60 fights into his long career? Can you imagine Barrera doing that? Get real. Pacquiao is an ATG there is no denying that. ****, he probably was already one before he moved past 135. But what's going on here right now is beyond obvious.

^You're forgetting that he hasn't even weighed past 145 at all yet.

Even more amazing. He doesn't even have to be that big to do it. Yet he's somehow proven to be stronger than these bigger opponents thus far.

Do you seriously believe they'd go for 160? He's just talking **** at this point. Yesterday, he wanted Manny to retire after this. C'mon.

I never seriously believed welter. Freddie talks **** but he's not crazy. He's an ATG trainer. It's his confidence in the strength and speed of Manny that makes him say such ridiculous (at least on the surface) statements.

His previous weights weren't too off from the opponents, though (according to the catchweights everyone loves to blame). This is the first fight where he's at a real disadvantage at 5 pounds. You can question his strength then after tomorrow night. But I don't think weighing 2 lbs less than Cotto and Hatton automatically makes him the weaker man. He just has perfect leverage for his punches, but whatever.

Do we know that? I don't remember the fight night weights for the other fighters. But nevertheless, come on. Joshua Clottey? Miguel Cotto? These are strong welters. Can you imagine Barrera doing that? Morales? Anyway, it seems you are making my point for me. You're right, he isn't the weaker man. How many fighters can leap that high and have a strength advantage? Unheard of.

for now on if manny goes up to another weight class the opponent should be allowed to fight at whatever weight he wants just not over the official limit. and manny should keep going up until he lose. never know what will happen.
