The momentum shifted in the later rounds of their first fight towards Sergio. This makes me think that Sergio had began to figure him out. Unlike the first time, Sergio knows what to expect for the duration of the whole training camp. Therefore, I have Sergio winning by a close descison.

I actually though Williams was the one who stepped it up down the stretch just enough to get a 115-113 decision. After struggling abit early. But I do agree with most of what you posted. We have to remember also that Martinez took the first fight on very short notice and will go into this one better prepared. Williams will do what he always does and just fight consistently without changing his style, it's a question of whether Sergio can handle him better and achieve the right balance between boxing and fighting. If he can he should win, but it's still hard to call.

The first fight was for me the best of 2009 and i'm really looking forward to this rematch. It's just a shame "The Punisher" had to demand a catchweight against a guy he's already beaten. To me that's a bi*ch move but if he comes out with the win again and the WBC MW title then I will give Paul his props.

This fight, due to their styles, is SO hard to call! I wanna say Martinez, but Williams is a fighter man... Hard to say! Im goin with Martinez tho! Prob lose a few $ on this one.

i think if anyone is gonna get knocked out it's williams. i thought martinez had him hurt in a majority of those rounds last time. he's on the decline. i had froggy cintron shutting him out up until that leap of faith.
