Nate is fighting at 135 again? But I thought that...

Nate feels the back rehab he went through after the Ortiz fight will allow him to do the extras necessary in camp to make 135 again. I stipulated that this fight be at 137 and not 135 because I want him to test out that theory in stages, and not attempt 135 right from the go. If he makes 137 with no issues, feels good at the weight, and feels that he can take off another 2, then he will try 135 in the next fight.

I was not comfortable doing it all in 1 leap, and putting him in the position of either missing weight or being weak at the weight if the 135 plan just isnt feasible. After Nov 27 we will know for sure............

This rivals the Alexander-Kotelnik card in St Louis this past August for card of the year.

Now this is what every single boxing card should be like, but with one more major attraction too. People would actually start watching this **** again and maybe even paying for it.

Those fights are all good, but watching guys like Lara (this article says 'three fights in 2010 alone'....come on, give us a break. He's a young prospect. Three fights in one year so far for an untested, 13 fight brand new pro is pathetic. He should be fighting a minimum of six times a year though more would be better at this stage. He's not a champ of any sort and fighting every three months is just ******) and the other prospects against chump opposition that either don't put up a fight and get knocked out straight away or just can't fight gets boring very quickly.

Anyway, should be good. Certainly one of the better cards going this year.

                    That is a monster card.

Would it have killed Bob Arum to do something similar for the Pac-Margarito PPV?
