I love seeing boxing done well, & in exciting fashion. That makes me a boxing fan. I have always been perplexed by people just wanting to see it done by the biggest bodies possible, even when it's done poorly.
Bigger is worse, not better, in boxing. It's been proven.
a lot of people like it because it's so unpredictable, one punch can change everything, someone like dominick guinn can have a terrible fight, then win a fight by a 30 second knockout in his next fight, thats why some people like the heavyweight division, even though it's not the best division.

you are joking right? or are the number of posts you have indicative of your time following boxing?? or have you never seen him fight?

one or the other, and no offence either way......but you don't have to have be intelligent to see all his illegal moves......

I agree that the best fights is most often fought at the lower divisions and most heavyweight fights seems to be in slow motion with poor stamina and tecnique plus in fear of being hit by a clean shot.

My point was only the unique status that will always come from the heavyweight title regardless of how good the division is. That is why it will always be more of a draw then it often deserves to be.

This is NOT true anymore. I haven't seen a really good KO at heavyweight in a LOOOOONG time.
You can forget about seeing any decent KO's in the later rounds in that weight class, too.

There are plenty of power-punchers in the lighter weights....guys who **** like hell, & can change or end a fight at ANY time during the fight.

Yes since I'm living in Germany i can see his fights for free which i have done. And yes i can also see that you are new to boxing (may 2004) or is that just the day you decided to join this forum?

I think the illegal moves you are refering to are not illegal but comes from Valuev being so much bigger than his opponents and that he can be a bit clumsy looking at time.

I'm very curious how Valuev does...

Donald has good ring experience a good stamina and a good chin...
I would even give him the edge. I see him dancing around Valuev all night, the hitting/retrieving.. Valuev will be too slow to counter. Something similar to Wlad / Peter, only Valuev has the size advantage.

What do you think: will Valuev walk through Donald as he did with the rest of his competition, or will Larry give Nikolay his first loss?

              Good Match-up
holy crap that is a mean ass knockout by Maskaev over Rahman. phoooooooo damn...

You're obviously blind if you haven't noticed all the hitting to the back of the head in Valuevs last fight. It was an absolut disgrace! I was really ashamed of the referee and the german commentating.

Valuev knocked Etienne out with a shot to the back of the head. That doesn't come from being bigger, that comes from haveing no accuracy in your punches and no understanding of the sport. Thus he's not the one to blame. It wouldn't be the first time that one of Wilfried Sauerland's fighters was part of a somewhat strange refeering.

Valuev has shown very little and a fight against Larry Donald wont prove ****. But obviously it's enough to milk the cow for the moment.

From what I've seen of Valuev, he's not that impressive at all.
