  • Britains hopes destroyed

Well Nautilus Vitali won my boy Danny Williams and now i shall honour my side of the bet. It was fun rivalry while it lasted, maybe Audley will jump up the rankings to fight Vitali next. ............. Or maybe not Thats the end of British World Heavyweight Championship hopes for awhile now, it's kinda sad in away. We had Lennox for all those years and kinda got spoilt in many ways, i really hoped Danny could do it and was convinced that he would. I admired his bravery in the ring last night, it would have been easy to quit and get paid for it but he didn't and fought on. I hope some of you people who dislike Danny at least give him the respect he deserves as a fighter and the bravery he showed last night. Anyone can have opinions on things but to actually call a fellow fighter a bum who risks his life by entering the ring and been couragous would be rather insulting. It's something i try to avoid doing now because if i was in that position i would hate people thinking that of me. I'm happy Vitali won as i kinda like him in away which is scary Obviously not because he has a really exciting style but because he is really dedicated to the sport and takes the championship seriously. You can tell he is not just here for the money and that goes along way in my mind. I still think Vitali is beatable and i still think he will get exposed in the near future but i wish him all the best and a long successful reign as heavyweight champion.

Come on, man. England has whom to be proud - Lewis the great champion. Outside of any doubts one of the best in a history of boxing. And to the Danny vainly assigned so much hopes. I personally did not give him almost any chances. That happened today absolutely predictedly. From the beginning it was clear, that the Danny, as well as the Audley, the future of the Lennox does not wait.

I had high hopes Danny could do it for us in my heart. I bet with my heart on fights like this and one day i will be correct. If i would have been betting purely on boxing knowledge then it would be Vitali but it's nice to believe in that gut feeling you have and thats what i did this fight.

.......I give Danny respect for taking that beating and still coming on. I thought his corner was overly rough on him with comments like "don't quit on us" and "come on man your children are watching at home". He was doing his best and his corner was degrading him instead of building him up.

I give him credit for the energy he digged so deep to find to throw those haymakers.....

That was some savage beating. I avtually felt bad when I was looking at Danny in afterfight interview. It kinda reminded me of Joppy's face(afte B-Hop fight) mixed with Erik Moraleses face(M-B 3). props to Danny for sustaining so much punishment and showing heart after every KD. Lets hope he does not have brain damage

Williams seems short on talent, but high on heart. Who else does that sound like? I hope Vince McMahon was watching and can set this one up for Wrestlemania in March...

Williams vs. Foley? Leave me out. Awful idea.

I still think Williams is good enough to bash up Ruiz, Brewster and Byrd. Vitali is just a league above everyone.

Williams is now officially the answer to a trivia question.
