Comments Thread For: After Close Call, Zab Judah Looks To The Future

Showtime's Steve Albert once remarked that they would need more cameras to keep track of Zab Judah due to his uncanny swiftness of hand and feet. Perhaps that's why, when he sunk to the canvas slowly in the tenth round of Saturday's clash with Lucas Matthysse of Argentina, the moment seemed to drag out longer.

Is that a fact? 315? If so, he's a strong dude. My max ever was 285, weighing 165.

"The other guys don't pose a threat like this guy do. [WBC champion] Devon Alexander and [WBO champion] Timothy Bradley, they're good fighters but those are boxers. They're gonna move around and try to go the distance. This dude was looking strictly for a knockout.

"Amir Khan is a very good puncher, throws fast combinations but he has his hands full with [Marcos] Maidana. That's no easy fight."

this right here, tells me that Zab thinks highly of Amir and believes he is better than Timmeh and Devon.

yeah, fight that African for the IBF belt, that's the only guy that you may beat of the top cats in the division, don't go near the other guys

Don't believe the hype cause Zab has a better chance against weak chin Amir than the other 2. Both Bradley and Alexander have pretty good chins. I would rather fight the guy I could clock and get a response from than the other 2. Bradley is the best @140 until someone proves otherwise. Amir is the product of great promotion cause who has he fought to be considered the best?

Zab is going no where. Amir Khan will pound his face in for 12 rounds. I can only think Zab is another bad KO waiting to happen, he just doesn't have the flare to hang at the top anymore.

Zab needs to stay away from fighters who attack the body,Timmy,Maidana and I believe Mabuza they are fighters who will test Judah's will just like Matts did..TBH I had the fight a draw but if Matt's had step on the gas a lil more early he would have stop Judah..Judah's best shot to win in this Div or with Khan and Alexander..I think Ortiz and Peterson are even bad choice's for Zab I've notice fighters with good will are very dangerous to Zab...
