How come when Dirrell runs in fights he slips all over the mat? When he isn't running, he doesn't end up tripping over himself!

Dirrell was definitely losing his composure and discipline, but he would have survived by fighting ugly. So no for me.

Yes, Dirrell was totally gased out and was just running, even with the dq, dirrell faked being slipped like he did like 3 other times that fight just to avoid the knock down

70-30 he survives until the final bell

He was just gonna run for his life. I had money on Dirrel winning, and I was worried he might get KOd, but i thought it was more a possibility than a probability. AA hardly laid a glove on him in that rd before the illegal blow.

He slipped in the corner, he did it multiple times, he wasnt knocked down. I'm not sure Dirrell was feeling the pressure and his stamina was running out as usual but i think he would have survived the last round.

I think he would of at least knocked him down in the final round and half.

I think he would have, Dirrell boxed his ears of for the majority of the fight but Abraham was coming on strong. Dirrell didn't look the same and we always knew Dirrell would take the earlier rounds.

Just watch Froch-Taylor if you doubt it could have happened. I think Abraham was on his way to victory. Though it is hard to say if it would have happened or not.

What this guy said... only sensible post so far.

Abraham had not landed one single punch in the entire round before he cheapshotted Dirrell.

Yeah he had knocked him down the round before, but Abraham had 0 success following up on it and when he realized all Dirrell had to do was run for a couple rounds to win Abraham got frustrated and cheapshotted him because he knew that was the only way he could finish him.

Dirrell was showing signs of folding in there. Had the DQ incident not taken place, the 12th round would have felt like 3 hours to him.

I think it's quite possible that he wouldn't have lasted the distance.
