Dwyer has made some horrible picks lately in the last 4 months. He's having a bad run.

    He has incorrectly picked
    - Dawson over Pascal (INCORRECT)
    - Murat over Cleverly (INCORRECT)
    - Marquez over Lopez (INCORRECT)
    - Mora over Mosley (INCORRECT)

In fact, pretty much the only correct pick Dwyer has made recently is Klitschko over Briggs, and N'Dam over Khurtsidze (which btw, was very controversial and many think Khurtsidze should have won)

    Dwyer is freaking losing it

This guy is losing his marbles

I would pick the OPPOSITE of what he says

lol. Cool guy but he's been making some friggin terrible picks lately.

You mentioned Hatton. Well, we might see a bigger version
of Hatton in this fight. Don't know how Pac would handle
pressure executed by a much bigger guy. Sooner or later
some of Marg's punches will land on Pac's head and body.
We'll soon see if Pac could walk through them and execute
at least some his combinations and go for a short finish.
A twelve round fight might not be in Pac's best interest.

If everything goes well for Pac, I'd expect his straight left
would do the job. It could may well become another Hatton
      moment. Otherwise, anything can happen.

I don't agree with this mans fight analysis at all. Unless something is seriously wrong with Pacquiao or Margarito has improved dramatically, I can't see anything but a Pacquiao win. This guy says Pacquiao has no right hand and is a "one handed fighter" which is quite simply put, incorrect. Perhaps Pacquiao's right hook isn't as good as his straight left but it looks pretty damn good to me. What I also find interesting is when he says that Margarito won't let Pacquiao hit him with the right hand like Hatton did... as if Margarito is some sort of defensive wizard.

Also, this guy told us to re-watch the Hatton fight and look for when Pacquiao's back hits the rope. I took it upon myself to rewatch the fight (hell, it isn't much of a task to rewatch Hatton-Pacquiao!) and his back literally touched the rope for about a second on each occasion! I didn't see any outstanding vulnerabilities in that aspect of Pacquiao's game, pretty much every fighter hits the ropes at some point.

It is interesting to note that Margarito has a reccuring tendancy to follow fighters aroung the ring. Pacquiao may not fight so great going backwards as Dwyer points out but he doesn't need to be able to. Margarito's punches are somewhat telegraphed, Pacquiao will spin off of his right foot, wait for Margarito to turn and nail him with a combination every time. I'm not saying Pacquiao won't get hit, of course he will, but he will hit Margarito more often, harder, and faster.

One point I strongly disagree with is Margarito being a harder puncher than Pacquiao. Margarito is not that powerful. Any knowledgeable boxing fan knows that power is derived from the speed of a punch, and the weight behind it. Based on this fact, Margarito isn't that powerful a puncher: He is slow, and punches with his arms only. Pacquiao on the other hand, punches with his whole bodyweight behind his shots at a rapid speed. For this reason, I believe Pacquiao is the harder puncher despite being the smaller man by far.

Although I, like most, believe the Pacquiao being distracted thing is being used as a promotion tool, it still worries me slightly. Also, I believe Pacquiao Will be about 148 on fight night and Margarito will be about 160 (based on him being 154 on 24-7 following a workout). I doubt weight will present too much of an issue for Pacquiao, but it isn't out of the question.

My prediction is a Pacquiao win via TKO (referee stoppage) between rounds nine and 12.

Dwyer is right, the Pacquiao-Hatton fight was a lot closer than people think. That's why there was so much demand for a rematch. If it wasn't for the fluke knockout in the second round, and the two knockdowns in the first, and the other 64 power shots Pacquiao landed, it was an even fight. Take away those 67 power connects and the fight could have gone either way.

^^I have to agree with this. I was a little puzzled when he said the word close in the same sentence as Pacquiao vs Hatton. By his admission, close is getting someone to the ropes and landing Perhaps one or two decent punches in comparison with getting knocked down twice in the first round, and getting knocked out cold for two minutes in the second round. It doesn't add up.

He basically said all those distractions and concerns in Pac's camp are hype filled crap. Of course, if people blame all that on Manny's loss -- If he does indeed lose to Margo -- they'll be just as full of it. Reason being, it'll only be Manny's fault for not focusing on the fight and taking Margo lightly.

I think this fight will be predicated on how eager Margo is to prove how much he wants to be champion in the 154lb division and prove all of his detractors wrong.

As long as Pacquiao stays off the ropes he will have his way with Marg. It's gonna be a 12 round ****, that is if Marg will last that long.

Yo Dwyer picked Pirog over Danny Jacobs and he even called it to the tee. If he can call that fight then he can most definitely call this fight as well.

He is not to be underestimated but for him to reference Hatton in the way he did is just ridiculous. Hatton is brainless and his fight plan just consists of charging in like a bull dog and use his head like a damn bulldozer.

Manny took all of Cotto's body shots and not one flinch. Manny has shown his resistance and a high weight class and although Margarito is going to be the biggest fighter Manny has ever fought, I believe he is not going to take liberties with AM.
