You're wrong, he picked Pacquiao to knock out Cotto which is what happened.

      Hatton's footspeed is 5x faster than Margarito's.

I'm not arguing with your point, just pointing out your mistake.

Almost EVERYBODY picked De la Hoya to beat Pacquiao.

This is wat I'm gunning for.

Pacquiao in a decision against Margarito. Margarito won't get knocked out if he respects Pacquiao's power. I think he can do enough to cause Pacquiao not to get reckless, but not enough to be competitive.

And yes, Hatton had much quicker footwork than Margarito.

Margarito is not going to make Pacquiao fold.

But feel free to bump this if he does, I don't mind admitting if I'm wrong.

You know what, my initial prediction on this fight was pac would dominate cause all he would do is turn Marg around when pressured. But I watched the HATTON vs PAC fight and while PAC was using his legs turning Hatton he eventally got fed up with being walked down and fought toe to toe. Dwyer presents some good ideas. I challenge you guys as well to watch the Hatton vs Pac here or here or download from the video trading block.

Pay attention to the times in the 1st round that Pac's back actually touches the ropes at 2:45, 2:03, 1:34 then 2nd round at 2:54,2:29. Why does this matter you say? Well when Hatton gets your inside while your on the ropes he just clinches. When Margarito gets on your inside on the ropes he continues to throw multiple punches preferably uppercuts. And yes Hatton pressure footspeed is way faster than Margarito's. Marg takes some time to get warmed up before he goes in hard. So I expect the early rounds will be easily in the bank for Pac.

The question is when being pressured will Pac resort to just brawling as he usually does or will he stick to the gameplan?

He really sucks at picking fighters. I remember him picking Valuev over David Haye just because of height advantages.
