    JuanMa's pitiful defense= dramatic fights

I am glad JuanMa won and he was really battering Rafa towards the end but wow he just runs there throwing sloppy wide shots with his chin exposed against a very good fighter with punching power and I am glad.

It was such an exciting fight and I was on the edge of seat because you knew even though Rafa was getting bullied around and taking punishment that he could land one of those counter left hooks that hurt JuanMa a few times and end it.

I personally hope JuanMa doesn't improve defensively because he is just great action and makes for dramatic fights.

Gamboa stops him in an action packed fight...I think both may be a little chinny but Gamboa's faster and a lil sharper...

juanma's fatal flaw is the right hand that ends up with his fist facing the ground after he throws any left. if he's close, the right hook will murk him.

damn boxing fans complain about EVERYTHING!!!

seems to me that JuanMa wanted to put on a good show for the fans and he did, so he stood in and fought and exchanged and got the win and left no doubt but yet people are now complaining about his lack of defense

from what I seen he was able to Defend well when he had to, I thought it was a great performance and defense is not a concern

Everything I intuitively worried about in this fight played out to a tee.

Rafa looked very small in there against Lopez who looked like a LW or JWW to me, and his age showed especially after the 4th round.

Juanma is decent, but this win doesn't change my opinion about him, if anything, it reinforces it.

That said, I don't think much of Gamboa at all and I think Lopez sparks him pretty easily.
