Zab had several moments where it looked like he was going to open up on Lucas, but never really did. I don't understand how someone with the speed (power?) of Judah allows slower fighters like Baldomir and Matthysse to beat him to the punch. I used to think Judah was a threat to the top 3 (Khan, Alexander, Bradley), but no so much anymore. He just doesn't have it in him.
For some reason Zab has trouble with these types...

Remember, Zab hasn't had many rounds in the last 3 years after losing to Clottey... He looked to be feeling his way...

And also styles make fights, every fight is different, I still believe Zab could give those other guys trouble...

Thats why I love Larry Merchant, he keeps it real...

Even Jim Lampley has shown his true colors lately especially with Manny Pacqiauo...
Out of all of umm I say Merchant is the realest..I use to love Max but he has gotten worse and worse with each fight he calls..Like he does not wanna upset people or something not as raw as he once was..I have to give it to Stewart as well he is good too,but hands down Merchant is the best and will be missed...

Whre is Larry going? He's been around... He just doesn't do Boxing After Dark... Lampley doesn't normally do it either...

I thought Roy Jones was good and yes Manny is one of the better color guys...

I thought Lucas did enough to win plus he knocked down Zab. Anyways, Zab has no buisiness with the top guys at 140 or 147 so he has been reduced to nothing more than a stepping stone for up and coming contenders.

Did not know much about the argentine but he looks like a decent fighter, I'd say he llokks like a better version of Maidana. Lets see what the future holds for him.

In no way shape or form was this a robbery. It was a close fight that could've went either way. If anything, Matthysee will gain a fan base and should get more HBO fights. Im suprised that Judah didnt get KTFO as I said in my previous posts, so kudos to him. I thought Matthysse edged it by with the kd, but he is still raw. You gotta think that any of the top 140 pounders would've stoppped him.

Zab had a terrible close to the fight. Not very encouraging going into a shot at a vacant belt.

How do you guys see him matching up with Mabuza?

Another robbery for the masses. Matthysse won that fight, as soon as they announced the first 2 scores, I knew what the deal was. It's always the same storyline, score for the guy who deserved the win (as a pity offering I guess), and then the rest goes to the gift getter..what a joke. Judah was getting worked over near the end but his name is more well known than Matthysse's is.
