Thought it kind of doesnt make sense bc Rafas prime was at those lower weights - but hypothetically, if his prime was @ 126 and they fought there, then Lopez still wins.
Showdown with wilfredo jr in da future would be great

Have I ever replied to you? No, exactly since you're disrespectful and a bigot. I want to discuss boxing with others fans. No racial intolerance on my part. U can continue on your way. in the future though, if you do post something of substance, I will be than willing to debate, discuss, ponder.. ours is a subculture "boxing"...best believe its tough to find others that truly understand the beauty of the sport.

I completely agree. During the press conference Juanma was cordially answering questions giving respect and credit to Rafa until that arrogant Mexican reporter tried to belittle his win and his showing in the fight. In my opinion the reporter's line of questioning was definitely biased and not based on what everyone who watched the fight had plainly witnessed. Juanma let him have it. And he deserved it!

First of all. What a fight! This fight was great for the sport, lots of give and take brawling. I do not think Rafa was lying about the shoulder. It was clear that he was not throwing the right hand. I was wondering why he was not throwing it and it turned out it was injured. You can plainly see during the last few rounds he is not throwing any hard long right hands, he was only pitter patting with the right. Juanma was more hurt then Rafa was ever hurt in this fight. Juanma also was holding Rafa's head down all night, and that is illegal cheap ****! I like to see what happens if Juanma is not allowed to hold his head down all night, this illegal move prevented Rafa from coming back at him, I hate that ****.

ur being dismissive of Rafa's power? he rocked juanma in the 4th what r u talkin about? Gamboa has never been in a war like Rafa. Gamboa isn't exactly to difficult to hit so we'll see when Juanma lands. Regardless, from a purely selfish perspective, i am glad he won now he can move on to face the fighters that all his critics, u being one of the most vocal, need to see in order to give him his just due.

I think that much like Cotto, both Juanma and Gamboa are very exciting fighters with some vulnerabilities: The chin and above all their movement. Like Cotto, both Juanma and Gamboa need to sit on their punches and can't fight on their toes (like Pacquiao does so well using the same brawler style) which means they are in for a short but VERY exciting careers. They should meet sooner rather than later because it will be a much better fight if they are still with it.
hell ya, rafa made him do a little Salsa there. I was proud he did go toe to toe with rafa, a bona fide ****er! it is going to be a fantastic match with gamboa. june bro. june cant wait.

Calderon has many of these types of wins on his record that only make those statistics bull. when you have two guys in their primes facing of and when the result is not pre determined thats when its important.

I here what your saying but regardless if there not considered elite fighters boxing considers everyone of them a war because its PR vs Mex so you got to count it if it was only prime PR fighters against prime Mexican fighter it really would come down to a few fights where honestly I dont see either have an edge the stats I had mentioned were all title fights between both either way dont get me wrong both countries produce the very best
