I feel sad for some of the people here. Are you lot incapable of enjoying a good fight? Lot of you just rush to hate and the sad part is its simply to try to take other peoples enjoyment and bring them down to the haters miserable level. Hating for hating sake is not cool, its pathetic. Some of you need to stop acting like a boxer is your girlfriend.

As for the fight, I thought it was great and hopefully great fights are coming our way the rest of the year. Glad Juanma won, I like fighters that come to fight and are vulnerable, brings more excitement to the fights imo. Arum better secure the gamboa fight cause ill be upset if they feed juanma a cupcake for his next fight and no gamboa in june.

That fight was amazing,I think the Mexican-Rican rivalry needs more fighters that show respect, because sometimes fans of either sides show no class!!Luckily for me,I like boxing so I'm a fan of any fighter that I find interesting!!

Even Mexican newspapers, like EL UNIVERSAL, are excited with López's destruction of Márquez and said that López made Márquez submit.

And, tbh, most of the trash talkers here aren't even Mexican.

I think a prime marquez would of won this fight, WVJr is the best up n comer from PR, juan ma got caught against a fighter with no legs marquez is done n still looked like he deserves a rematch, gamboa, pelechin, or WVJr have a better chance, what i do like about juan ma is dat every fight he has is exciting he gets hurt n makes it a great fight slug fest n he puts hes ass on the line

I totally agree with you. This was a great fight and I really enjoyed it. I then come on to these forums to read about peoples opinions on the fight and instead of reading about how good the fight was, most of what I read was all about hate. There aren't many good fight anymore and this was a good one. Learn how to enjoy the fights guys. I'm looking forward to a rematch.

I have always had respect for Rafa but the sholder excuse was a low blow to Juanmas victory. Great fight, had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. And yes Juanma has his flaws but he keeps on winning so... It's not like Gamboa or Caballero are flawless or anything like that.

WHAT? Marquez hasn't fought as low as 126 in at least 5 years, and has been fighting as a lightweight (or higher) for his past 4 fights. If anything he'd move up gain to 140 to get that championship in a 4th weight class that no Mexican has done. Why the hell would he go all the way back to 126?
