No way Marquez won the first 6 rounds. He won one maybe two and he would almost surely been KOed with the next two rounds. He took a massive amount of shots in the last two rounds but fought valiantly.

It was a very good fight, indeed a war for some of the rounds. Juanma looked very good in the 7th and 8th and Marquez showed his big heart by trading back, while getting hit with vicious blows. Full credit to Juanma for this win! And full credit to the blood & guts warrior, that Marquez is. Very sad, this shoulder injury came in (which I believe is true, because Marquez didnt throw the right at all in the last rounds).

Those fights will happen and we'll see... all 3 fighters are good!!! I tend to believe that Marquez, Chris John and Gamboa are better than Caballero...and that's my opinion...Marquez showed his pedigree...fighting in angles and mixing it up, I didn't expect anything less from him...still 1 of my favorite fighters...he was in really good shape and put Juanma in trouble...but I don't believe the shoulder injury...just give Juanma his props...took Marquez best shots and kept comming...and I agree that and Juanma DOES HAVE FLAWS...

JuanMa a dirty fighter as usual rabbit punching and pushing down with his forearms all night but ill give it to him for standing in front of Rafa and taking some good shots while obviously rocked. Rafa never got dropped, only got dominated in the last 2 rds where he was obviously experiencing shoulder problems, and almost took out JuanMa had the referee not given him an extra 20 seconds of rest. He lost straight up had to retire on his stool, but the people on here talking racist **** dont make it seem like Juan Ma didnt have trouble, because he did making it 3 out 4 fights that hes been rocked in recently.

Regardless, Gamboa and Pelenchin got better pop at 126 than Marquez, and if Marquez could land that many punches I cant begin to imagine how many Gamboa will.

Most likely though it will be Jhonny Gonzalez vs JuanMa in March 2011 Puerto Rico.
