Honest truth Marquez isnt the fighter he used to be but that shouldnt take nothing away from him or from Juanma the fight was good I honestly thought Marquez still had a chance in beating Juanma just because he kept catching him with that counter left

I freakin hate how Juanma gets careless and over confident hes young hopefully he learns quick

as for people talking Gamboa it is going to happen but no one here can say hes faced better opposition than Juanma honestly Gamboa has shown a lot of vulnerabilities himself so any one of them can capitalize with a big punch

now about Caballero come on now hes another Ricardo Mayorga he talks to much crap I mean i guess you got to do that in order to get a big fight now a days hopefully it happens soon

No way Marquez won the first 6 rounds. He won one maybe two and he would almost surely been KOed with the next two rounds. He took a massive amount of shots in the last two rounds but fought valiantly.

Lopez did what he should have. He beat a great, but 35 year old fighter who was shop-worn. Now that he has the name, it's time to take on the real tests: Gamboa, Caballero, and maybe Garcia. Very good win for Lopez. For sure, he's the real deal.

A win is a win at the end of the day. No doubt he was past his prime. Every article mentioning the fight, mentioned Rafa as past his prime or war torn. No credit taken from Juanma, but then again I give him little to no credit for a fight he was EXPECTED to win. Not because he PR. I rate this fight just a nod above the Penalosa one, but at the end of the day he got credit, not as much as he would if he fought Cab or Gamboa, but some.

                  Fantasy? uh ok.
But yes ANY PRIME FIGHTER BEATS ANOTHER IN HIS PRIME it means more.

Just like Pac did not beat a prime Hoya but his popularity soared after the win.

Did Margarito beat a "prime" Mosley?

Did Juan Diaz beat a "prime' Nate Cambell?

So spare me the 'Old guys" are weak theory.

But props to lopez hes a warrior every time he gets hurt he just comes back with even more vengance. But saying that when the contracts were signed most people knew what the result was going to be lopez was just to young to big for an old marquez. It looked like a bully in with a scared kid. Marquez would just put out his hand to keep lopez off of him i dont know why any one wants to see a rematch. Lopez needs to man up and fight cab

dude come one now why do people like you make excuses saying PR only faced bums if they fought for the title that means they were a contender stop hating and except the facts plus it aint me thats choosing there opponents it the system another thing this list goes way back and includes all fights between both of them regardless if its more WBO its still a sanctioned belt I bet there wouldnt be a compaint if some of those so called bums you guys talk about would of won the fight and about Vazquez the dude he fought was an ex champ how can he be a bum maybe he aint as good as he was before but a bum
