Judah straight out said he wanted no part with Margarito.

F'ing Michell could get a shot against the best fighter at the time for beating who exactly at WW? Hatton could get it for beating who exactly at WW? But, Marg couldn't?

Maybe, just maybe cuz Marg was a bigger risk then every single fighter that Floyd has fought at WW besides Shane. And, Marg reward didn't out weigh the risk. That is the most likely scenario and you should just say that.

However, doesn't take away the fact that the best fighter in the world at the time avoided Margarito.
the mitchell fight was a fight that floyd didn't have to take i agree with that but even that fight most people would had rather seen at the time than margo because it was a fight that people wanted to see befor tszyu messed up mitchells leg.the hatton fight was another fight that people wanted to see more than a fight with margo and it was a fight that floyd tried to make happen at 140 and then ricky moved up and beat collazo for a belt so don't get mad at me because outside of a couple of states on the west coast margarito had no recognition.margarito just loss to williams where as hatton was more popular generated more money and he was undefeated

Again, this post was responding to a post that I mentioned you don't understand time line. And, you proved it once again you don't.

No Shane in 2003 started campaigning at 154 not 147. He was chasing Oscar, Forrest was losing twice to Mayorga and then had shoulder problems that took him out the game and when he came back it was at 154, Don King didn't want to put Mayorga in there with Marg. And, kept it in house as he faced Cory Spinks instead.

So your question in the bold can not be taken serious because you do not understand time lines. And, the more you respond the more clearly it is that you just didn't follow the WW division closely during these times. Maybe you new to the sport became a fan in May of 2007, which is cool... But, the don't speak on stuff that you actually don't know anything about.

                  what's the big deal?

his congressional duties DID indeed interfere with his training.
