They were not facing each other what are you talking about? The only one who were facing each other were Cotto, Clottey, and Marg.

Mayorga fought a light punching WW, because Don King straight out didn't want him to face Margarito

Spinks then fights a JWW not a top WW,

Then Judah fights a journeyman in 9 losses and he straight out said he didn't want any part of Margarito.

Floyd faces a shot overblown JWW, then a guy who is coming off a lost to a journeyman with 9 losses, then faces that same journeyman with 9 losses who has a lineal title but is not the best fighter in the division and Zab Judah creation, then goes up to 154 comes back to face a JWW, then faces a LW, then FINALLY faces a true elite WW.
