Keep thinking that Khan, your not fooling anyone epseically the guy your about to face. Pac probably was easy on him and felt bad to go all out even with pads just to make Khan feel like he could compete. What ever floats your boat Khan....

He said Freddie wanted them to go in hard.
Ended up even, which could be true, but yes, headgear and big gloves makes Pac not as effective.

Khan's main weakness is his chin, and headgear solves that.

if khan got the better of pac in sparring then that's good for his confidence. all he needs now is to turn that to an impressive win against maidana. until then, khan should just keep that newfound confidence to himself.

Khan's movement, speed and boxing ability could give Pac some problems but if you want to see pac have REAL problems put him in with a style he hasn't faced since "beating" JMM.

But great job Khan. A good session like that against Manny will do wonders for his confidence, and it was probably just what Manny needed at that point in time.

A lot of folks seem to be getting caught up with trivia.
Although the comments about headgear, 16oz gloves, etc are all valid points in general..... they are irrelevant when it comes to specifics.
Even factoring in all of the variables, and even ensuring that all things are equal..... sparring does not = a real bout, because most of the main intangibles required to perform at the highest level, do not get a workout during a sparring session.
Come on, it's just a sparring session.
