This guy is over-hyped.
Khan isn't overhyped in the slightest. 90% of the moronic boxing public are harsh critics of Khan. In fact, his wins over Kotelnik and Mallignaggi are underrated considering that Kotelnik schooled Alexander in his next fight after a long lay off, and Mallignaggi was coming off two wins over Juan Diaz (He won the first fight). Khan not only beat them, but dominated them, and won at least 20 out of 23 rounds.

That's the way I feel too. Even Khan's stories sound like he's trying to convince himself. Like Khan is Pacquiao's little brother and he would never REALLY put it on him. Also sparring accentuates a lot of Khan's best traits. With big gloves and headgear, Khan's offense has an opportunity to shine without his exposing his one flaw, that eject button of a chin he has.

option a: Amir Cant as usual is lying his ass off or he felt like it was a real fight when it was for Pac like light warmup sparring.

option b: Khan went to his limits by sparring Pac because Roach knew he wouldnt touch or hurt Pac lmo. (and which coach would allow his sparring fighters to go full and hurt his fighter so close before the championship, well it was just Khan)

Its all about speed and confidence

Khan and Pac sparring improves Pac's speed whilst bolstering Khans confidence. Of course wearing headgear helps protect Khan and so he's less likely to get hurt. Khan has speed and skill and power don't forget. As Roach has said, there arent many who can match Amir's speed. Question is on Khans chin, but he was caught cold against Prescott and those couple of shots that took him out if landed in the same way, would have taken anyone out. Khan has learnt his lessons though and worked on his defence. Don't forget Ortiz knocked down Maidana and Khan already beat Ortiz in the amateurs. If Khan can protect his chin and Maidana doesn't land cleanly, who do you fancy then to win?

My concern is if you watch Amir's previous fights (and I've seen them all) and especially his last fight against Paulie, Amir comes in throwing combos and it's almost as though he has decided what punches he's gonna come and in throw before he's thrown them. Of the 5-6 punches he throws, maybe 1-2 will land, occasionally 3-4-5 will land. But as he's throwing, he is open. If Maidana anticipates when Amir is gonna throw his combos, he just needs to make room for himself, create an angle and then he has a clear shot at glory!

Nov. 13th Vamos a Ver Quien es el MASSSS MACHOOOOOO!!!!

I honestly don't think Manny will be able to handle the pressure and volume punches from Margarito. I think Margarito plans on using the jab the first few rounds then picking up the pace in the 4th or 5th rounds! This will be another Segura vs Calderon fight! Manny will drop on this knee!!!!!!

You're suppose 2 go hard on sparring unless ur working on defense or something. I think Amir is just happy that after having pacs nuts in his mouth so long he finally swallowed them.
