Some of them did, and some of them didn't. It's about 50/50 in that aspect. And he may have gotten a bigger fan base because of the hype-up to this fight and the fact that Morales and Marquez are now saying they are cheering for their so called Mexican comrade even tho both in the past have said they felt Margarito cheated.

I don't know what goes through the brain of Morales and Marquez, but in a fans mind seriously cheating like using Plaster in your hand-wraps is pretty much unforgivable. Even KO'ing King Kong doesn't change the past.

yeah, in my opinion margarito is a mojado with a USA citenzeship. ortiz and de la hoya are mexican-americans. vargas was a chicano, and bradon rios is a chicano. but those are just my opinions.

Some folks argue that Victor Ortiz or De La Hoya are not "true" mexicans because they were born in the states. Does that make margacheato a fake Mexican like Vic Ortiz and Oscar?!?!?

LOL Ortiz and dela were born here and raised here. They are as american as you and I. Margarito's was only born here. he moved to tijuana as an infant or a toddler i believe. He's lived in Mexico his whole life. He is as mexican as any other person born and raised in mexico. If your parents moved to china for a month and you happened to be born there then your parents moved back to united states when you were 1 month old are you calling yourself Chinese for the rest of your life?

Born in America but he was raised his whole life in mexico. He can't even speak English so how could you call him American. Oscar and Victor are American who are only "Mexican" when it helps them out.
