Some of them did, and some of them didn't. It's about 50/50 in that aspect. And he may have gotten a bigger fan base because of the hype-up to this fight and the fact that Morales and Marquez are now saying they are cheering for their so called Mexican comrade even tho both in the past have said they felt Margarito cheated.

I don't know what goes through the brain of Morales and Marquez, but in a fans mind seriously cheating like using Plaster in your hand-wraps is pretty much unforgivable. Even KO'ing King Kong doesn't change the past.

Yea but the reason people say margarito is mexican bc he grew up in tijuana unlike ortiz nd oscar. Plus wearing trunks with the US flag on them
and representing the US in the olympics is why people say oscar isnt a real mexican.

AFAIK he was born in Torrance, but grew up in Tijuana.
