Since when do haters ever understand, isn't the definition of a hater to not really understand but just hate?

You should take the hate as a complement, if you aren't generating any ill will you are not really that successful.

He's a worldclass fighter, but he is by no means going to go down as one of the greatest.

It would make business sense. Both Williams and Martinez are highly marketable. They just aren't highly visible. It would be a very good investment with Floyd sitting out and Manny getting ready to leave the sport.

Emanuel Steward - "In all my years of boxing I have never seen anybody like Paul Williams. A guy with that physique should not have the cardio he does, it's like Ray Leonard's, maybe better. A man that big should not be such a good fighter on the inside. He's as tough as they come." (Pakau, Margarito and Winky fights)

Lennox Lewis - "Paul Williams is the biggest freak I have ever seen in the sport. He can do it all. He will be top pound for pound eventually." (Matthysse fight)

Max Kellerman - "I have been following boxing a long time. I have never seen, and I don't think in history there has been a guy quite like Paul Williams. He can throw 1,000 punches a fight and overwhelm anybody. Or he can sit on his shots and take guys out." (Phillips fight)

Shane Mosley - "I would fight anybody...but I really wouldn't want to fight him" Interview on LA Radio Station after the Margarito victory

Ray Leonard - "I think Paul Williams can go down as one of the best ever" (talking to ESPN during one of Paul's early fights)

For all the talk of Paul getting hit flush too much, you leave out many facts because your Mexican, Puerto Rican or Las Vegas money whores are scared of him. He has a deadly jab when he wants, outjabbing Winky Wright which has never been done in boxing. He can KO guys from the outside (Quintana, Kolle) he can destroy guys on the inside (Phillips, Matthysse) he can outbox boxers (Winky) he can out pressure and out volume the biggest and busiest around (Margarito) he can win wars (Martinez) and he can mop the floor with former greats (Sharmba Mitchell).

Paul has holes, but so does every fighter. What he does is only recognizable to those that acutally train themselves and understand how rare he is. He is a definite hall of famer and a potential #1 P4P fighter so stop hating. The man loves Cali and Mexican fans, he has trained in Puerto Rico, and he apologized for his shot about Floyd's personal life. He gives Pacquiao props and he defends Margarito in regards to the hand wraps. Be thankful we have a guy like him willing to fight anyone, any weight, any time.

He will be a hall of famer definitely. He's #3 P4P right now, Floyd is sitting out and Pacquiao is about to retire.
