Yep, you are right on this one, they were all hyping up Gomez saying that it was the most skilled fighter he would have fought after Lewis. There were articles saying Gomez would be too skilled for Vitaly.

That's the funny thing about Klitschko haters (I am not saying Rado is one by the way), they all want to see the Klitschkos loose desperately, it pains to see them on top and ruling like this for whatever bias they have. So they pick each and every opponent of theirs to beat them, saying that "oh, he is too tough for Wlad" or "he will disrupt Vitaly with movement, Vitaly is getting old", then when the Klitschkos destroy them, they are like "who? That dude was a bum anyway, Klitschkos never fight anyone good." Then they place their hopes on another "great (fill in the blank) hope" only to see their wildest hopes and dreams destroyed once again.

Sorry haters - Solis is not going to fulfill that dream for you and neither will Gaye.

I know who "Burger Boy" Solis is: a 6'1", 300 pound Cuban piece of crap, brought to you by the same people who claimed fellow Cuban JC Gomez was gonna "school" Vitali Klitschko.

I want Adamek vs Vitali @ MSG. Solis is a waste of Vitali's time.

People are acting like Solis is just going to walk through Ray Austin. Im not sure thats going to happen. Solis should win, but I think this is going to be a pretty big test for him. I mean, what live body has Solis proved himself against? When Monte Barrett, a year after getting KO'ed by Haye is your best win...there are no guarantees. This might be too much too soon for fat boy.

Agree. I don't think this is a sure thing for Burger Boy Solis at all. Solis has admitted he doesn't like boxing, and this is easy to see when you view his ever-expanding waistline. He looked atrocious at the weigh-in for this fight, a human blimp. He's gotta be over 300 pounds right now, and even if he takes some of this weight off, it's gonna affect him negatively. Austin isn't exactly skinny himself, but he's not in Solis's league as a fat slob.

I really want to see Vitali vs Adamek at MSG and I will hate Solis even more than I do already if he messes that up. The people promoting Solis on here are just gonna turn around and call him a fat bum when Vitali kills him anyway, so why should VK bother? A fight with Adamek in NYC would be massive!

Also keep in mind that Austin's only loss in about 10 years was to the best HW in the world not to mention that Solis is fat as all hell even though its been mentioned several times in this thread.

Yes my friend, you are describing the pretzel logic that the Klitschko detractors so often engage in. A world beater before the fight becomes a tomato can the minute a K-Bro destroys him. And there certainly were MANY people, here and on ESB especially, picking Gomez to destroy Vitali, inflated by Gomez's constant trash talking. The minute he lost badly, he was called a "bum" and a "blown-up cruiser" by many of these same people. I expect the same thing to happen with Solis, which is why at this stage of Vitali's career that fight is a waste of time. Solis will be called just another fat boy and a joke the minute Vitali wastes him.

Let's instead see a battle which will excite people, which is Adamek vs Vitali @ MSG. That would be a HUGE fight, drawing many Ukrainian, Russian and Polish fans from the New York/New Jersey area. It would be an event that the HW division really needs.

lol @ trashing Solis while defending Shannon Briggs and Kevin Johnson to high heaven.

I don't care how fat or unmotivated Solis is...he is still leagues better than either of the above two fighters.

The pretzel logic of the Klit huggers is amazing to see.

True but i dont think he would be willing to take a lot of punishment to try and win a fight e****ally if what he says on facebook (that he doesnt like boxing) is true.

Based on what his AM career? a win over a shot Monte Barrett?

I am not saying he is worse than either of the two but you have no reason at all to claim its a better fight at this point especially when VK could be fighting Adamek if not for WBC BS.
