damn, pac vs clottey was only 12 k plus short of breaking the biggest attendance.....margo is way bigger draw than clottey so this might really break the record for real!

I think historically Mexican like to walk up and buy tickets the day of, i know I have rad that involving boxing before and I am sure Arum is counting on a large contingent of Mexican's comming out.

No. I was simply pointing out that the numbers are misleading and easy to distort. The last fight at Texas Stadium between Pac and Clottey so 50,000 seats and had a live gate of $4.5 million. That is the about the same as the live gate for Mayweather/Marquez, which only drew 13,000 to Las Vegas. An attendance of 60,000 doesn't really mean that much when you are virtually giving away tickets.
