I thought Govolkin was going to fight Rubio next?

What happened there?

But, either way good step up for Lemieux.

And, I thought the Diamond belt was only for catch-weight fights? Do they have to pay a sanctioning fee for that title as well? The WBC is so ridiculous.

Sebastian Zbik is the WBC interim title holder. He would have first crack at the winner of Williams-Martinez.

So the winner of Lemieux-Rubio would have to wait after Zbik gets his shot I think.

Well either way it is fine. Lemieux should have a couple more prep fights anyway even if he is successful against Rubio
