Cintron is a bigger puncher based on just watching his career.

Cotto has always been a break you down and then knock you out kind of guy... he attacks the body, he wears you down.. and then he stops you.

Cintron throws bombs, he has a huge right hand... coupled with his height, his frame, and the way he throws his punches... he can knock you out.

Cintron was mind ****ed in the Margarito fight because he couldn't hurt him.. and neither could Cotto.. they both got the mind**** treatment.

What do you want me to do ? Bring you statistical evidence Cintron punches harder? Because it doesn't exist. IMO Cintron is a bigger puncher than Cotto, and that helped keep Williams at bay a lot because he was landing flush.

I dont see Cotto having the same success, not only for the lack of punch but because of the height differential... Cintron was able to keep closer to Williams than I think Cotto would be able to.

panda personally thinks theyre equal punchers but thats not something that can be proven either...maybe if they fight similar opponents down the line. panda initially posted in this thread cotto wouldnt win it due to williams his height and reach and punch output
