The Peterson fight could be decieving in that there was a big wieght difference.

With all due respect, Soto hasn't look good in the last 3-4 fights hes been in. He has no power at 135 and often looks soft around the body and very lethargic. He is trying his best to "box" but is failing miserably, and in return he has become a very boring fighter.

Based on that assumption I don't see why Rios of JMM would want to duck Soto. JMM beats him and I could even see Bam Bam pulling it off as well.

Oh and by the way...I'm a huge Soto fan.

I dont think Rios is all that special tbh so i dont know where all this hype is coming from. HE beat Peterson who was totally untested and there ae still lot of question marks around Rios as far as im concerened. He's like a poor man's Angulo and i see him getting schooled by alot of fighters. HE's way out of his league if he think he's ready for Marquez or even Kat..

He should be aiming for Demarco or Zappa.

I'm not picking Rios to beat JMM because of Rios, I just saw a lot of slippage from JMM in that second Diaz fight.

Combine that with the fact that he's small at LW, is gonna go through another tough ass fight with Katsidis, and the fact the he's not gettting any younger makes me lean towards Rios to win because Rios is tough, big and has good skills.
